Hi, today I will talk about a course of my career, this course is Archaeoastronomy and I liked too much because mix the archaeology and astronomy knowledge. The course is about of how any cultures of the past studied and used the different astronomic landmarks and stellar map to be guided in the navigation or delimitate different time periods relevant in the economy of any societies, for example: the farming or harvest of foods. I enjoyed this course because is very interesting for know how some cultures used the astronomic in their lifes. I learned that for the settlement of polynesia, the first navigators from Asia not only needed develop good ships to cross the pacific ocean in search of new lands, also they had develop a navigation system that would allow them to be guided for the open sea at night without get lost, they could achieve it thanks to the observation of some stars in the nocturne sky.  On the other hand, in the case of the Maya Culture, the stellar knowledge w...

It is a little complex talk about this topic because I’m not sure what I could study as postgrad, I’m interested in many topics, but at least there’s one I wish I could study in the future and so be able to approach to the country I wish to know. I’d like to be able to do some diplomat or master about Nordic culture, the truth is that these types of programs are very scarce, although what I had investigated, many of them are made in English, so it wouldn't be very complex to do this in the future. The idea would be travel to Iceland or Finland and be able to study some part-time postgrad and work too so I can pay the studies and stay. I’m very interested in being able to know more about the Nordic culture, not just its past but also how they integrate part of it into their present. I think it’s always interesting and enriching being able to know other cultural contexts and see the similarities and differences between the own culture and the another. Hi everybody! Today I’ll talk about what type of job I’d like to have in the future. I’m at 4 th year of archaeology, the truth is that I’ve already be able to have my first approaches to the work area. My study area is very wide as for work possibilities both in the private and public area. I wish I could do outdoor archeological work, I mean, on the ground itself, either prospecting or rescuing archeological stuff, I want to link this with the research work in a “desk”, although the truth is that I always liked the idea of work in other places more than in a single place like a office for example. For what I could inform myself, the pay isn’t bad and it would allow me to have an economically quiet life (especially in the private area), even being an student I’ve been able to get jobs as field assistant and that’s the best a person could get with no college degree. Today I’ll talk about a book that I liked it too much during my childhood, I had to read it for school, I remember that my aunt gave me as a gift, more or less when I was 10 years. This book is named “El país del agua” and the author is Jacqueline Balcells. The book tells the story of a family that have a hard choice to make, choose their next holidays place, finally coming up with the idea of go to all of the proposed places by the sons of the family (lake, river and beach). Already in their first holiday days in the lake, things didn’t come as they were expected due to the rain that hasn’t stop since they arrived. The daughter in the middle of the family named Peregrina, sad for the situation, meet an old woman who tells her about the lake Ondina and its disappearance, and for this, the cause of the rain. The girl disposes to investigate about this, being pointed out as someone weird by her old brother and her friends. Finally, she finds the Ondina, who tells her that she doesn’...

As well it was hard to me chose the teacher inside my area of study who i admire. The person that has inspired me is Lorena Sanhueza, is an archeologist chilean and teacher with a Doctorate in Anthropology (UTA) and Magister in Archeology (Universidad de Chile). She has written various articles, cooperating in one of the books more relevant in the chilean archeology (Prehistoria en Chile) and also she has written in 2016 a book called "Comunidades prehispanas de Chile central. Organización e Ideología (0-1200 d.C.)". I met her in University as my prehistory teacher in 2015. Lorena is a very good teacher and person, she always cares about her students. Hi, I been thinking some time about which one was the best concert I’ve attended. Truth is that always comes back to me the memory from 2017 at the Teletón Theater, when came in September one of my dearest japanese bands (specially for its vocalist), I talk about the symphonic power metal band Versailles. This band would enter for its aesthetic and staging inside the category of visual kei bands, the ones that have a story in Japan since the end of 70s decade. Versailles formed in 2007 by two great visual kei artists, Kamijo as vocalist and Hizaki as guitarist. I think that’s one of my most appreciated concerts, because I also could meet some important people in my life. The environment was very energetic, although it wasn’t the first time Versailles comes to Chile, but it was the first time I could see them. During the show, the theater wasn’t in its full capability, but I felt there was too much euphoria, surely because I was just in front of the scenario, so I really enjoyed it in...

Welcome to my blog! The country that i would like to go is Iceland for too many reasons, first of all because use is one of the countries that is closer to the nordic culture, the main reason for this is because is an island with very low early intervention of foreign people, i think that is a very rich culture in terms of their values and beliefs about the nature. The second big motive to visit this land is for his beauty nature, nature that they protect and respect, is one of the few places in earth where you can see Aurora Borealis also know as the Northern Lights, Iceland have too a lot of mountains, waterfalls, hot springs, ice caves and even glaciers that the icelanders preserve, and i appreciate they really care the environment. Other thing about Iceland that is very interesting is the fact that there are some periods along of the year, more specifically in winter, when you almost don’t see the light of day, just a few hours of light and on the other side in summer, some days...
